Dear Dr. McGuinness & Staff,
I had to write and let you know how extremely happy I am
after having the surgery. After years of wanting to have it done
and just being too scared to do it, seeing how my father was
treated before, during and after his cataract surgery by all of
you, really pushed me to even think about it. Dave first
approached me and put the thought in my head, showed me around and
really encouraged me. Ann dealt with my mini nervous breakdown
before surgery. The surgery itself felt like 5 minutes long and
was not even a bit as bad as I thought it would be!
Although my vision wasn't totally perfect after the surgery,
it was good enough for me to be very happy, but by that night I
could see perfectly! Waking up and being able to see the clock is
one of the biggest things for me! This has really changed my whole
life. I've been so happy for the past few days, my children have
told me each day before they go to school, "enjoy your new
eyes Mom". Thank you again for everything.
